El Gouna is the perfect place for an amazing kitesurfing holiday. It provides warm temperatures, constant side-on shore wind and a wonderful flat water playground for kitesurfers of all levels. The lagoon offers a wide, sandy beach for safe launching and landing, as well as beautiful crystal blue water for a great time on and off the water.

It doesn't matter if you are into freestyle, learning your first tricks or you just want to start kiteboarding - El Gouna is definitely the right spot for you!

Arrival & Stay

El Gouna is just a 30-minute drive away from the airport in Hurghada. We will organize your pickup and the transfer to our accommodation, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Talking about accommodation: We will stay in our own wonderful private villa in one of El Gouna's most beautiful areas, sharing a room with another Salty Sister or choosing a single room.

The villa offers a beautiful view over the lagoon, a big pool, WIFI and a lot of space to relax. You are going to love it!

Girls Kite Camp and adventure trip in Colombia: Action and fun every day. All levels welcome!

Kite, kite, kite - of course this is the main focus of our trip. Depending on the conditions we have one to two daily kitesurfing sessions during which we will support you to gain more confidence on the water, learn new tricks and boost your kitesurfing skills to the next level. We provide coaching, support and fun - on and off the water - for our group of salty sisters.

Beside kitesurfing our retreats offer daily body & mind workouts (yoga, fascial muscle relaxation, breathing exercises, etc.), a simple guide to an active and healthy way of living as well as empowerment activities and personal development workshops.

Empowerment

More than a kite camp: Our retreats focus on empowering women on and off the water. Together we celebrate every day, session and progression, share thoughts and experiences to be able to grow. During the past years we found a very special energy unlocked in a group of like-minded women with the same passion – an energy that is supportive and just unstoppable. Our mission is to build a strong sisterhood of kite girls (and those, who want to become one) and to show the world how much women rock on the water!

As always, we offer limited spots for the most personal experience. Because of the private house, this retreat is limited to 8 - 10 spots. Feel free to send us a message regarding information about the spot, transfer, kite lessons, rental – or anything else, that’s on your mind.

*What kite level do I need?

At our retreats, all kitesurfing levels are welcome! Please note that due to safety reasons you have to take kiteboarding lessons or assistance until you are able to go upwind in any kind of condition (light wind, strong wind, gusts, wavy spots, etc.) and be completely confident with the self-rescue maneuver. We are happy to help you arrange everything with our partner school Makani Beach Club prior the trip. Even if you are a beginner or need some refreshment lessons, we will still make sure to ride together and share amazing experiences on the water. Of course, our team will provide coaching and share tipps with all the participants - no matter the level.

What is the difference between a My Salty Sisters Empowerment & Kite Retreat and a kite camp?

We want to shift the focus to the one thing that matters most: Having fun on the water. We truly believe that progression comes with the feeling of safety, support and pure joy – and that’s what we want to provide to our Salty Sisters. Empowering each other is a big part of this process, which means we will be there for every little step you do towards reaching your personal (kitesurfing) goal.
